Nicholas was born on the 12th of June 1962, two months ago he turned 60 years old. He was a great artist who used to showcase his artistry on cakes. He was the co-owner of the International Sugar Art collection which was Atlanta-based and he also used to teach art and cake decorations as well. He is well-known for creating botanically correct gum paste flowers. Nicholas was also the judge of the food network Challenge and he was the instructor at the French Pastry owner. Apart from judging at Food Network, Nicholas was also a judge at the Omni grove park Inn National Gingerbread House competition and regional competitions regarding food as well.

Nicholas was born in England, Essex. He started his journey on cake decors at the age of ten when it was his parent’s wedding anniversary. At that time his grandmother gave him a booklet on how to décor cakes and he used it to create flowers on cakes. He also had a tonsillectomy at that time and he initiated getting better in the field with his parents and grandmother’s support. He went to the Moulsham High school in Chelmshold and even after being an engineer, Nicholas had a great interest in becoming a chef and he pursued his career in that field. Though Nicholas’s parents were supporting him, he was still afraid but even after that, they supported Nicholas in pursuing his passion as his career.

At the age of 16, he initiated his first in his career y going to the National bakery School which is in London. On Weekdays Nicholas used to study and on weekends, Saturday and Friday he used to work at a bakery. After working half a day in the bakery on Saturday, the rest of the day, he used to work at a flower shop. While he used to work at the flower shop, he got information about the formation and designing of petals and flowers. When he graduated he was awarded the distinction of most outstanding cake in cake decorations. Working at a flower shop helped him a lot in understanding flowers in detail. Nicholas initiated his career while working with the National bakery school as a principal wedding cake designer. These cakes were supplied to Harrods, Savoy, and the Ritz. He also made cakes for the royal family, for Queen’s 80th birthday, and Lady Diana and Prince Charles’s wedding as well. He wrote his book on cake decorations in 1985. After that, he initiated his books and videography skills as well as showcasing and teaching students how to initiate and master cake decorations. Until now there is no update on the cause of death and his family has been private about it. But according to strong sources, he passed away on the 9th of August 2022.
